Dear Benny, I wanted to take the time to fully express my husband's and my deep appreciation to you and your orchestra for making our daughter's wedding reception the incredible success that it was. You and your band members were gifted and accommodating far beyond what most entertainment groups would have ever been.
Benny, you understood from the start just what the Bride, Groom, and we were wanting. You obviously possessed the quality of trying to please all of us from the beginning, throughout the planning months, and up through the end event. When we asked to change the event from Orlando to Oklahoma City, you agreed and began making it happen!
I still find it absolutely amazing how you were able to so successfully coordinate the musicians into the travel arrangements; make provisions for the numerous, miscellaneous musical items needed to be set-up by an Oklahoma Sound System business; and all of the other minute details involved. But, you accomplished it being the "Pro" that you are; and it all came together like "clock work."
Your music, and the Bride and Groom would totally agree, "made" the wedding reception! From the moment the ballroom doors opened and Shajar began to play at 6:00 P.M. on February 15th, until we had to stop at midnight because of the hotel contract, the music maintained an electric excitement in the ballroom. Every single number performed seemed to be the perfect choice, which kept theguests dancing, and even singing, along with the band. I'm certain that you and the other wonderful musicians realized what an incredible job you were doing since the dance floor was never less than half full, and was usually more than that for the entire 6 hour reception (of course, excluding the meal and few speeches). And please believe me, I've been to a lot of weddings and Bar Mitzvahs over the years, and have never heard better Horas than Shajar's 2 that we enjoyed that night! One of our most frequently heard comments that night, the next morning, and for weeks thereafter, was "The band was 'terrific,' 'fabulous,' 'the best'!" What thrilled my husband and I even more was that our daughter said to us twice as we reached and past the original 11 :00 end time was, "Don't let the band stop!" It was the most wonderful evening of her life and you enormously helped to make it all the more memorable for her and her husband.
Benny, another "too wonderful for words" touch was your personal attention to creating an original, very special dance for the Bride... her "Gramma Tillie dance." You understood the difficulty in having our daughter's dear Grandmother even travel out to Oklahoma from Florida to attend the wedding. After strokes had left her unable to speak or eat normally, all she could do was walk or standcautiously, smile broadly, and look beautiful. You worked on the positives, and arranged for her to have a dance with our daughter to an absolutely perfect piece of music. There were not many dry eyes watching that dance, which you then led into the second, spirited "Hora" medley with everyone surrounding Gramma Tillie. It was a rare, cherished moment in time capturing her family's love, and atribute to her spirit for life, that no one who was there will ever forget. She carries photos of her dance with her Granddaughter; and how she loves showing them off!
I could go on and on with many other little "touches" that you added to our daughter's wedding, but do not want to be overly lengthy. My objective in this letter, in addition to thanking you again from the bottom of my heart, is to offer my ongoing accolades that will help you to attract lots more business. Both my husband and I would be delighted and honored to be on your list of very happy clients who wish to refer others to Shajar.
Benny, you are a gifted professional and a very lovely gentleman. It was such a pleasure for my husband, daughter and son-in-law to have the opportunity to get to know you and to work with you.
